Also noteworthy is the extraordinary role of director Donovan Marsh who has managed to keep us two hours in tension and to tell us exactly the status of those on the submarine. I've never seen a movie made with such passion, attention to detail and "joy" to film. From the sequences shown on the final generic, we see images filmed by the director with real submarines shot in the sea. [...]

It's been a long time since i saw a movie that keeps me so strained throughout. Gerard Butler really knows how to play. It's a different role from what he has played so far. If you like submarine movies, this is a movie that should not be missed.
