Valerian and the City of a Thousands of Planets is Luc Besson's new SF adventure film, the legendary filmmaker who made history, with movies like Leon, The Fifth Element, or Lucy, and is based on the comic book series with the same name, which inspired a generation of artists, writers and filmmakers.

In the 28th century, special operatives Valerian (Dane DeHaan) and Laureline (Cara Delevingne) work together to maintain order throughout the human territories.

Under assignment from the minister of defense, the duo embarks on a mission to Alpha, an ever-expanding metropolis where diverse species gather to share knowledge and culture.

When a dark force threatens the peaceful city, Valerian and Laureline must race against time to identify the menace that also jeopardizes the future of the universe.

Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets can be seen on Pro TV on Sunday, December 20, at 20:00 and on Wednesday, December 23 at 00:30.

Directed by Barry Sonnenfeld, responsible for the hit series Men In Black, Nine Lives stars Kevin Spacey, Christopher Walken, Jennifer Garner, Cheryl Hines, Robbie Amell, and warns us that when you want to give a gift to a loved one, it is best to put your soul in it, otherwise you risk losing yours!

Tom Brand (Kevin Spacey) feels guilty about spending more time at the office than with his family, and decides to give his daughter the gift she wanted for a few years - a cat.

Pressed by time, he arrives at the only pet shop open, which, however, is a magical one, so the cat he buys from there will not be an ordinary one either. On the way to his daughter's party, he has an accident and, when he comes to his senses, he loses it again: he wakes up trapped in the cat's body from the magic pet store!

Will he be able to become the businessman without feelings again, as he was before the "transformation"? Or life will teach him a lesson and keep him captive in the fluffy pet that his whole family will love, except him…

Nine Lives will be available on Pro TV on Wednesday, December 16, starting at 8:30 p.m.

The role in Abduction gave Taylor the perfect opportunity to confirm his physical and acting qualities. Here he plays Nathan, a teenager who has always felt alienated from his own life.

And the strongest fear came true one day, when a friend accidentally found his photo on a missing persons website.

From here, everything took a dangerous turn: he realized that his parents were not the real ones, and his reality was in fact a lie meant to hide fatal truths.

The Abduction stars Taylor Lautner, Lily Collins, Alfred Molina, Sigourney Weaver and Maria Bello.

Abduction can be seen on Pro TV on Tuesday, December 15, starting at 9:30 p.m., and rerun on Friday, December 18, at 1:15 p.m.

In first place is the action movie Blitz with Jason Statham. A cop who can't control his anger knows a serial killer who can't control himself. Who will benefit?

The Marksman (formerly titled The Minuteman) is directed by Robert Lorenz from a script by Chris Charles, Danny Kravitz and Robert Lorenz and produced by Tai Duncan, Mark Williams, Warren Goz, Eric Gold and Robert Lorenz.

Prorom will release The Marksman in cinemas on January 2021.

From the same team behind Mia and The White Lion comes a new, furry, family adventure that will transport audiences into the heart of breath-taking Canadian landscapes.

The film is set to be released in the first half of 2021.

After her grandfather's death, 20-year-old Alma decides to go back to her childhood home – a little island in the heart of the majestic Canadian forest. Whilst there, she rescues two helpless cubs: a wolf and a lion.

They forge an inseparable bond, but their world soon collapses as the forest ranger discovers the animals and takes them away.

The two cub brothers must now embark on a treacherous journey across Canada to be reunited with one another and Alma once more.

The Wolf and The Lion is directed by Gilles de Maistre (Mia And The White Lion) and will star newcomer Molly Kunz (Widows) and Academy Award® nominee Graham Greene (Wind River, Dances With Wolves) alongside animal castmates, supervised by renowned animal trainer Andrew Simpson (Game Of Thrones, The Revenant).

Catherine Camborde of Mai Juin Productions, and Jacques Perrin, Nicolas Elghozi and Valentine Perrin of Galatée films are producing, alongside Canadian co-producer Claude Léger of Transfilm International.
