Robert De Niro Stars Alongside Sebastian Maniscalco in the comedy About My Father

Lionsgate has released the official trailer for the comedy About My Father, directed by Laura Terruso.

The hottest comic in America, Sebastian Maniscalco joins forces with legendary Italian-American and two-time Oscar® winner, Robert De Niro (Best Actor, Raging Bull, 1980), in the new comedy About My Father.

The film centers around Sebastian (Maniscalco) who is encouraged by his fiancée (Leslie Bibb) to bring his immigrant, hairdresser father, Salvo (De Niro), to a weekend get-together with her super-rich and exceedingly eccentric family (Kim Cattrall, Anders Holm, Brett Dier, David Rasche).

The weekend develops into what can only be described as a culture clash, leaving Sebastian and Salvo to discover that the great thing about family is everything about family.

About My Father is directed by Laura Terruso and written by Austen Earl & Sebastian Maniscalco.

Prorom will release About My Father in the following territories: Hungary (May 25), Romania, Bulgaria (May 26) and Czech Republic and Slovakia in June.

Orphan: First Kill - now in cinemas!

The Orphan is coming to Romanian cinemas on July 29.

Isabelle Fuhrman, who broke out in Hollywood as the lead of the disturbing 2009 hit Orphan, will reprise her role in Orphan: First Kill.

William Brent Bell (The Boy, The Devil Inside) is the director of this movie.

In Orphan: First Kill, written by David Coggeshall, Leena Klammer orchestrates a brilliant escape from an Estonian psychiatric facility and travels to America by impersonating the missing daughter of a wealthy family. In order to help Fuhrman bring her character to life again, filmmakers used a combination of forced perspective shooting and a world-class makeup team.

Julia Stiles (The Bourne Identity, 10 Things I Hate About You) is also joining the cast of Orphan: First Kill, produced by Entertainment One and Dark Castle Entertainment.

Prorom will release Orphan: First Kill in Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Slovenia.

First Look Image for Shekhar Kapur and Jemima Khan’s What’s Love Got To Do With It?

StudioCanal and Working Title Films release a first look image from cross-cultural British rom-com What’s Love Got To Do With It?, directed by Shekhar Kapur (Elizabeth) and written by Jemima Khan.

Set to release in cinemas worldwide 2022, What’s Love Got To Do With It? stars Lily James, Shazad Latif, Emma Thompson, Sajal Aly, Shabana Azmi, Asim Chaudhry, Mim Shaikh, Jeff Mirza, Iman Boujelouah, Mariam Haque and Sindhu Vee.

British-Pakistani record producer, DJ, songwriter, and musician Naughty Boy will bring his production and writing skills to the film, collaborating on new, original, recordings. Rahat Fateh Ali Khan has also recorded two songs for the soundtrack and will appear in the film itself.

The film is produced by Jemima Khan (The Clinton Affair, The Case Against Adnan Syed, We Steal Secrets: The Story Of Wikileaks) & her Instinct Productions with producer Nicky Kentish Barnes (About Time, About A Boy) alongside Working Title Films’ Eric Fellner and Tim Bevan.

How do you find lasting love in today’s world? For documentary filmmaker Zoe (Lily James), swiping right to find Mr Right has only delivered bad dates and funny anecdotes, much to her opinionated mother Cath’s (Emma Thompson) dismay.

For her childhood friend and neighbour Kazim (Shazad Latif), the answer is to follow his parents’ example and opt for an assisted marriage with a bright and beautiful bride from Pakistan. As Zoe films his hopeful journey from London to Lahore to marry a stranger, chosen by his parents, she begins to wonder if she might have something to learn from a different approach to finding love.

StudioCanal is fully financing and will release in their own territories – the UK, France, Germany, Australia & New Zealand – and are selling the film worldwide.

What’s Love Got To Do With It? is set to be released in cinemas Summer 2022.

Prorom will release the movie in Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia.
