After We Collided: Now in cinemas!

The blockbuster After We Collided opens today in almost all cinemas from Romania.

After breaking records in the first running weekend in the Czech Republic (48,000 spectators in 3 days), Hungary (40,000 spectators) and Slovakia (30,000 spectators), After We Collided is ready to break records in Romania, where fans are looking forward to finally see it.

Most cinemas in the country have reopened and will play After We Collided starting September 11.

After We Collided is the film adaptation of the best-selling novel written by Anna Todd, After We Collided, and is the sequel of her best-selling novel After, which became an international hit after starting as a fan-fiction on the Wattpad platform.

The After series includes five books written by Anna Todd that have been read over 1.5 billion times on Wattpad. Simon & Schuster Publishing House has published four books in the series, which have since been translated and published in 40 countries.

The first film in the After franchise debuted as number one at the box office in 17 international territories when it was released in April 2019 and, since then, has accumulated over $70 million worldwide.

The second chapter is just waiting for the reunion with its base of loyal fans of "Afternators", but also to be discovered by moviegoers who were deprived of access to cinema for almost half a year.

After We Collided is distributed in Romania by Prorom and Ro Image.

Jessica Chastain is a Deadly Assassin in the first Trailer for Ava

It’s Jessica Chastain vs. Colin Farrell in the first trailer for Ava, a new action thriller from director Tate Taylor.

Director Tate Taylor is best known for his work on The Girl on the Train and The Help, and is now turning his vision on a more action-oriented genre.

Ava focuses on the title character played by Jessica Chastain, who is a world-class assassin working for a powerful entity. But eventually her dangerous employers turn against her, forcing her into an epic battle for her life.

The film stars Jessica Chastain, John Malkovich, Common, Geena Davis, Colin Farrell, Ioan Gruffudd and Joan Chen.

Ava will be released in cinemas soon by Prorom in Romania, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia.

Mel Gibson and Kate Bosworth fight off criminals in new Force of Nature trailer

Mel Gibson teams up with Kate Bosworth and Emile Hirsch to fight off some deadly criminals in the midst of a Category 5 hurricane in the first trailer for Force of Nature.

Hirsch plays a cop who is trying to evacuate an apartment complex when he runs into Dr. Troy (Kate Bosworth) and her father, the latter of whom stubbornly refuses to leave his home despite the raging storm outside.

Little do they know that a group of thieves led by John the Baptist (David Zayas) are breaking into the building in pursuit of $55 million that has been hidden somewhere on the property.

Gibson reveals himself to be a retired detective who is familiar with the bad guys, and won’t let them walk away with the money without a good old-fashioned fight.

Force of Nature, directed by Kate Bosworth husband, Michael Polish (90 Minutes in Heaven) and also starring Will Catlett, Swen Temmel, Tyler Jon Olson and Jorge Luis Ramos, will be available on various formats June 30 through Lionsgate.

Gibson will soon be seen opposite Frank Grillo in Joe Carnahan‘s action movie Boss Level.

MGM Acquires North American Rights for George Miller-Directed Three Thousand Years Of Longing

MGM has landed another major project, acquiring North American rights to the George Miller-directed Three Thousand Years of Longing, starring Idris Elba and Tilda Swinton.

Miller wrote the script and is producing with Doug Mitchell.

Miller: “This film has been simmering in the back of my mind for some time. If we can pull it off, I believe we have the makings of something unusually tasty.”

Michael De Luca, MGM Film Group Chairman and Pamela Abdy, MGM Film Group President: “We are thrilled to be working with George and Doug on their next film, and are especially excited to be a part of the sweeping and timeless world that George has created. This uniquely original film, by one of the world’s greatest storytellers, will be something truly special for moviegoing audiences.”

The movie is expected to shoot in Australia, London and Istanbul. The film will be released in the U.S. via MGM’s joint distribution/marketing entity United Artists Releasing.

Prorom will distribute Three Thousand Years Of Longing in the following territories: Romania, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia next year.

Night Shift – World premiere at this year’s Berlinale

The Berlin Film Festival has added a world premiere - special screening of Anne Fontaine’s Night Shift (Police), starring Omar Sy and Virginie Efira.

This year marks the 70th edition of Berlin International Film Festival and will be take place from 20th February to 1st March 2020.

The Berlin Film Festival and European Film Market (EFM - a film trade fair held simultaneously to the Berlinale) - are attended by around 20,000 professionals from over 130 countries. More than 4200 journalists produce media coverage in over 110 countries.

Based on a novel by Hugo Boris, Night Shift (Police) focuses on three Parisian police officers charged with driving a stranger back to the border. However, Virginie (Efira) realizes their prisoner will most likely be killed upon return to his country and so goes about attempting to convince her fellow officers to release him.

The protagonists of Night Shift, Anne Fontaine’s new film, with Omar Sy playing a dramatic role, are torn between desires and fears.

Along with Sy, Virginie Efira and Grégory Gadebois complete a trio of policemen and - women who represent a fascinating cross-section of French society.

Prorom will release Night Shift in 2020 in Romania, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia.

Lassie is back in cinemas!

Lassie, the most famous dog in film history, is back on cinema screens!

The heartwarming story of the inseparable friendship between a boy and his Collie dog is based on the wellknown original novel by Eric Knight.

Flo's best friend is his Collie Lassie. When his family is forced to give the dog away, Flo (Nico Marischka) is heartbroken. But Lassie isn’t easily separated from Flo and embarks on an adventurous journey across Germany, a journey back to her beloved friend Flo.

Lassie Come Home is directed by Hanno Olderdissen and stars Nico Marischka, Sebastian Bezzel, Anna Maria Mühe and Bella Bading.

The family entertainment adventure is produced by Henning Ferber through his LCH Film UG in co-production with Warner Bros. Film Productions Germany, Suedstern Film, and Traumfabrik Babelsberg. Warner Bros. will release the film theatrically in Germany.

Prorom will release the movie in 2020 in: Romania (on March 13), Hungary (March 12), Czech Republic and Slovakia (September 10), Moldova and Bulgaria.
