After We Collided: Now in cinemas!

The blockbuster After We Collided opens today in almost all cinemas from Romania.

After breaking records in the first running weekend in the Czech Republic (48,000 spectators in 3 days), Hungary (40,000 spectators) and Slovakia (30,000 spectators), After We Collided is ready to break records in Romania, where fans are looking forward to finally see it.

Most cinemas in the country have reopened and will play After We Collided starting September 11.

After We Collided is the film adaptation of the best-selling novel written by Anna Todd, After We Collided, and is the sequel of her best-selling novel After, which became an international hit after starting as a fan-fiction on the Wattpad platform.

The After series includes five books written by Anna Todd that have been read over 1.5 billion times on Wattpad. Simon & Schuster Publishing House has published four books in the series, which have since been translated and published in 40 countries.

The first film in the After franchise debuted as number one at the box office in 17 international territories when it was released in April 2019 and, since then, has accumulated over $70 million worldwide.

The second chapter is just waiting for the reunion with its base of loyal fans of "Afternators", but also to be discovered by moviegoers who were deprived of access to cinema for almost half a year.

After We Collided is distributed in Romania by Prorom and Ro Image.

Lassie Come Home - Interview with director Hanno Olderdissen: “The audience can look forward to a modern film with a nostalgic feel and lots of fun.”

This weekend, Lassie Come Home (directed by Hanno Olderdissen) re-enters the Romanian cinemas. On this occasion, we bring you an exclusive interview with the Director of the movie, Hanno Olderdissen.

Hanno Olderdissen was born in 1976 in Bielefeld, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. He is known for his work on Robin (2008), Rock My Heart (2017) and What to Do in Case of Fire (2001) as well for the family film Wendy 2 - Freundschaft für immer (2018) and the series Der Bulle und das Biest (2019).

How did you approach the idea of bringing Lassie again into the big screen?
I wanted to create a film that was modern and interesting for the children but also has a classic nostalgic touch to honor the original Lassie Films and Series that we, as parents and grandparents know from our own childhood.

When did you first read the book by Eric Knight? How does this movie differ from the book?
I read the novel once, when I started working on the project together with the Producer Henning Ferber and Screenwriter Jane Ainscough. The Novel has a very epic story that goes over many months and has many chapters. The Story of the movie concentrates more on Lassie and her owner Flo and how they overcome adventures and obstacles to find back to each other.

Working on the two episodes of Der Bulle und das Biest helped you in directing this new Lassie movie?
It was a good “practice” for me to shot a TV Series with an bullmastiff. There I already got to know our excellent dog trainer Renate Hiltl and her crew. It surely helped and prepared me for directing Lassie.

After Rock My Heart and Wendy 2 - Freundschaft für immer where the “stars” were horses, now you bring this iconic dog back on the big screen. It seems that you are an animal lover, like me. Do you have a pet?
Unfortunately, I live in the City and have a Job, that involves a lot of travelling, so my lifestyle is not suitable for a pet. But when I was a little boy I lived in the countryside and my father trained racehorses, that I used to ride, when I was a child. Later I was very keen on showjumping.  And we had a little Jack Russel Terrier. So, yes: I am an animal lover.

Do you have something to transmit to the audience from Romania and Hungary, the two countries where Prorom will release the movie? What should the audience expect when they go see this movie?
I think the audience can look forward to a modern film with a nostalgic feel and lots of fun, adventure, drama and two very sweet and beautiful dogs.

After We Collided Gets Official Trailer

After months of waiting, After We Collided has an official release date and brand new trailer!

The upcoming drama picks up where After left off, and there’s trouble in paradise for Tessa (Josephine Langford) and Hardin (Hero Fiennes Tiffin) — the two may have split up, but they can’t seem to stay away from each other.

Hardin Scott (Hero Fiennes Tiffin) and Tessa Young (Josephine Langford) go through the aftermath of their breakup. While Hardin falls into some bad habits, Tessa, armed with a new confidence, lands the internship of her dreams at Vance Publishing Company.

While at Vance, she also grabs the attention of her handsome new co-worker Trevor (Dylan Sprouse), who is exactly the kind of guy she should be with. He is smart, funny, handsome, and responsible; however, Tessa cannot get Hardin out of her head. He is, after all, the love of her life.

Even with all their misunderstandings and hardships, Tessa can’t deny the pull she feels towards Hardin. She wishes she could walk away… it’s just not that easy.

Through all their ups and downs, the wrongs and rights, Hardin and Tessa will fight to be together… even if the universe wants them to be apart.

After We Collided premieres in US theaters and on VOD Oct. 2. Prorom will release After We Collided in Hungary on September 3, and in Romania on September 11. Watch the full trailer in the video above.
