Coyote vs. ACME premieres in Romanian cinemas on September 11, 2026, and will be available both dubbed in Romanian and in subtitled versions, depending on the individual cinema schedule.

When they get caught up in a coup the former military operative finds himself on a more adventurous trip than he planned for.

Director Pierre Morel and the filmmaking team prided themselves on designing and executing production with practical effects and stunts – versus a reliance on heavy VFX.

“What I think is also fun, and we see less and less in movies is that I like the actors to do as much as they can themselves. We don’t have any CGI crazy creatures. John, Alison, and Juan Pablo got into the action pieces they had to do and I think that shows. The audience wants that.”

Prorom will release Freelance in cinemas in Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria, Czech Republic and Slovakia.
