From the very start, I made it clear to the crew that we were not making an “American” film. Even though I love that kind of cinema, this is a French film with very French characters, who wear French anoraks, take their kids to school… Even the gendarmes look like real gendarmes.” sais the director Franck Dubosc.

The Amazing Maurice is the adaptation of the novel of the same name by Terry Pratchett.

Terry Pratchett was an English author of fantasy novels, especially, comical works. He is best known for his Discworld series of 41 novels. Pratchett, with more than 100 million books sold worldwide in 37 languages, was the UK’s bestselling author of the 1990s.

In 2011 he won the annual Carnegie Medal for The Amazing Maurice and his Educated Rodents, the first Discworld book for children. Pratchett died on 12 March 2015 aged 66.

“What a great honour to have the opportunity to film a Terry Pratchett book. After reading The Amazing Maurice, I am even more thrilled to bring this fantastic novel to the big screen” said Director Toby Genkel.

For the Romanian version, the voices belong to the actors: Mircea Băluță (Maurice), Oana Laura Gabriela (Malicia), Justinian Năstasă (Keith), Mike Gheorghiu (Dangerous Beans), Virgil Aioanei (Darktan), Nicu Enescu (Boss Man-Death) şi Silvia Gâscă (Peaches).

The Amazing Maurice can be seen from February 3 only in cinemas.

Everly, a prostitute working for the brutal criminal overlord Taiko, is being attacked in her apartment by Taiko's enforcers after he discovers that she has been working with the police to bring down his organization.

However, though Taiko expected his men to kill her easily after torturing her, Everly retrieves a gun she had hidden and starts to fire back...

Everly is directed by Joe Lynch and stars Salma Hayek, Hiroyuki Watanabe, Laura Cepeda and Gabriella Wright.

Prorom will distribute Three Thousand Years Of Longing in the following territories: Romania, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia next year.

Stephen Lang, Keith David, Chris Galust, Robin Bartlett, and Brady Jenness are joining Guy Pearce in the exorcism horror The Seventh Day.

Lang will co-star with Guy Pearce in the feature film, written and directed by Justin P. Lange (The Dark), and produced by Dallas Sonnier (Bone Tomahawk, Dragged Across Concrete) & Amanda Presmyk (Dragged Across Concrete, Puppet Master: The Little Reich) for Fangoria & Cinestate.

In The Seventh Day, a renowned exorcist teams up with a rookie exorcist for his first day of training. As they plunge deeper into hell on earth, the lines between good and evil blur, and their own demons emerge.

Justin P. Lange is a screenwriter and director with an MFA in film directing from the Columbia University Graduate Film Program. The Dark, Justin's critically-acclaimed and award-winning feature film debut as writer/director, had its world premiere at the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival.

The project is shooting this month in Dallas and New Orleans.
